Cheap and tacky plastic decorations. Santas in polyester suits and fake snow (In one of the driest countries in the middle of summer even..) The same carols played over and over throughout department stores.

regarding christmas carols, the only ones i like are by Bob Rivers, particularly "Chipmunks roasting on an open fire" and the "buttcracker suite".

This will be THE first year I have ever finished Christmas shopping before Thanksgiving. Can a get a halleluiah? No malls! No insepid music! No mobs of stupid people! YAY!

i've solved that problem by not buying anybody anything this year.
i'll get them those cards that make some crack about having no gift attached ... only this time, i'll mean it.
